What we collect

When you send a Hunt request, ask an engineer, or list surplus: your WhatsApp number and whatever you type — part number, brand and model, which machine it is for, how urgent it is. And the photo, if you send one.

When you join as a supplier: your name, company name, email, phone and WhatsApp number.

We set no advertising or tracking cookies and run no third-party analytics.

Hidden data inside photos is stripped

Photos taken on a phone usually carry GPS coordinates and the phone model inside the file. We re-encode every uploaded image before storing it, which drops that data. Image URLs cannot be guessed, and search engines are told not to read that folder.

Who sees what

Every Hunt request gets a public page so suppliers can find it. That page shows only **which part is being looked for** and how far along it is. Your photo, machine details and phone number are not shown there.

A supplier cannot see your name or phone number before quoting — our code does not send those fields to them at all. They do see what is needed to identify the part: the machine description and the photo.

The full details of your Hunt are seen by you and our technician.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or share your information for advertising.

We collect no payment details — no card numbers, no bank accounts, no mobile-wallet data — because no payment is taken on this site at all.

How long we keep it, and how to have it deleted

We keep Hunt records so that the next search for the same part is faster. No automatic expiry is set yet — we are deciding that, and this page will say so once it is set.

To have your data deleted, message us on WhatsApp with your SH number. We will remove your phone number, photo and machine details.
