What SpareHunt is, and is not

SpareHunt is an open catalogue of industrial spare parts in Bangladesh and a service for finding them. We identify the part, work out who has it, and make the introduction.

We stock no parts, sell no parts, and never take or hold the money for a part. The supplier sells the part, and you pay the supplier.

What it costs

Searching the catalogue, sending a Hunt request and having a part identified are free for factories.

If we successfully source the part, a service fee applies. It is shown as its own line on the quote, so you know the amount before you agree to anything. There is no hidden margin inside the part's price.

You pay the supplier for the part and its shipping directly; you pay SpareHunt only the service fee. Two separate payments.

Responsibility for the part, price and warranty

The supplier supplies the part. Price, delivery time, warranty and product quality are matters of your agreement with them. SpareHunt does not warrant anything on a supplier's behalf.

Our job is to identify the part correctly. Before ordering, please check the part number against the nameplate yourself — we check it too, but the last check is safest in your hands.

Catalogue information

Every fitment in the catalogue states whether we have **verified** it or whether it is still a **claim**. Anything unverified comes from public sources, and the page says so plainly.

Before buying on the strength of unverified information, send a Hunt request and we will confirm it against the nameplate.

All brand names, model numbers and logos shown on this site are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to identify parts. SpareHunt is not an authorized distributor or representative of any brand, and claims no partnership with any brand.
